PALUX CELEBRATES 90 YEARS
Palux , provider of smart kitchen solutions and concepts , celebrated its 90th birthday . Started in 1929 as a small family business , the kitchen expert has developed over the decades into a leading manufacturer of efficient technology and holistic concepts for professional kitchens .

YOTEL AND DUETTO PARTNER Tech-driven hotel chain Yotel partnered with Duetto , provider of cloud-based revenue strategy applications , to streamline its revenue processes , maximizing profitability across European operations . Yotel plans to implement Duetto ’ s pricing application , GameChanger , and its solution for intelligent reporting , ScoreBoard , in eight properties across the globe , totaling 2,776 rooms .

AMBIENTE TOUTS HORECA HALL SUCCESS For the first time , the Ambiente consumer goods fair , held in February at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition space in Frankfurt , Germany , opened a dedicated hall for the hotel , restaurant and catering industry , increasing its total number of exhibitors to around 650 . Brands from 23 nations presented their collections and offered insights into the global hospitality industry . Ambiente conducted daily trend tours to highlight trends and design concepts from selected front-of-house exhibitors . Also popular was HORECA Academy , featuring keynote speakers .
The Ambiente trade fair opened a dedicated HORECA hall in 2020 .
HORWATH HTL OPENS OFFICE IN MEXICO Horwath HTL opened Horwath HTL , Mexico – a new office in Mexico City , Mexico , launched in partnership with Crowe Mexico . The office will add expertise and geographical coverage to complement Horwath HTL offices in Latin America and the United States , according to the company .
The firm appointed Fabian Sanchez managing director of Horwath HTL , Mexico .
Sanchez is a real estate consultant based in Mexico City . Over the past 15 years , he has worked with investment funds , banks and private investors on hotel , resort and mixed-use development projects .
