Rosewood Hotel Group has transformed a 1914 Edwardian Belle Epoque building , formerly the headquarters of the Pearl Assurance Co ., into Rosewood London , the Rosewood brand ’ s debut hotel in Europe . In addition to the original street frontage and dome , the property includes historic details such as the Pavonazzo marble staircase that rises up through all seven stories . Lead interior designer Tonychi and Associates created a stylish residential feel in the 262 guestrooms and 44 suites while F & B spaces such as Holborn Dining Room and Scarfes Bar , designed by Martin Brudnizki , also offer cozy yet elegant ambience .
