Park Hyatt is penetrating deeper into Africa — not out .

Hyatt Hotels Corp . is opening the Park Hyatt Marrakech , in Morocco , the second of its luxury brand in Africa , after it opened the Park Hyatt Zanzibar , in Tanzania , in 2015 . There ’ s more to come on the continent : In 2025 , Hyatt is
scheduled to open Park Hyatt Johannesburg .
Just outside the Medina district , Park Hyatt Marrakech spans 19 acres and sits adjacent to the Al Maaden Golf Resort , offering guests easy access to the 18-hole golf course . Situated at the base of the Atlas Mountains , the resort is surrounded by palm , jacaranda and olive trees .
Guests can enjoy views of the Atlas Mountains and Mount Toubkal from the main pool sun beds , lobby ’ s grand window and the spa treatment and relaxation rooms .

IN DESIGN Park Hyatt Marrakech presents a modern take on the Arab- Berber heritage and consists of 16 pavilions , arranged around a central , zeolite patio , with design from Marrakech-based architect Imaad Rahmouni .
The hotel offers 130 residentially-inspired spacious rooms and suites with Moroccan touches . Each room features traditionally woven woollen Berber carpets and headboards with the Tataoui motif , along with local modern artworks sourced from Ifitry Artists ’ Residence .
