HOST PREPARES FOR 40TH ANNIVERSARY

HostMilano officially kicked off preparations for Host 2017 , the show ’ s 40th edition , from October 20 to 24 in Milan , Italy . Show organizers announced that 1,300 companies already are confirmed with 42 % of exhibitors registering from abroad . The United States shows top growth in exhibitors , up 83 % from 2014 . To bring more high-level visitors from North America , HostMilano has entered into agreements with industry associations , including the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association and the Hospitality Industry Network . An agreement has also been made with Restaurants Canada , representing 30,000 members .
Show organizers estimate that there will be more than 1,500 hosted buyers in attendance , and because of increased investment in targeting select buyers and greater collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency , a more complete technological mix will be represented .
SERENATA WINS WORLD TRAVEL AWARD
For the second consecutive time , Serenata won the World Travel Award for CRMs in 2016 . The World Travel Award was founded in 1993 and is awarded by an international jury representing the hotel industry . The award aims to foster competition , innovation and creativity in the market .
The award-winning NetHotel CRM system from Serenata collects information about guest interests and uses the data to design unique experiences for guests , according to the company . “ The entire Serenata team is delighted to have again received the World Travel Award ...
