The two-story library consists of a 3,700-volume book collection acquired from Sherry Kafka Wagner , a San Antonio novelist , historian , Harvard Fellow and cultural anthropologist .
The Sternewirth features a 25-foot ( 7.62-meter ) ceiling and a repurposed bottle labeler that has been made into a chandelier .
Terrace guestrooms include an 86-square-foot ( 26.21-square-meter ) terrace with a fireplace , handmade Redondo tile , ceiling fans and a custom-made mesquite lounging bench .
