Hyatt partners with Roomlinx to transform TVs

Hyatt Hotels Corp . has announced it is transforming the standard in-room television into an interactive entertainment center and virtual concierge at its full-service properties across the United States , Canada and the Caribbean . Roomlinx Inc . will provide the new technology
to up to 60,000 Hyatt guestrooms over the next two years .
The upgrade will allow properties to welcome guests to the room with a personalized greeting and mood-setting music and offer new features that include the ability to browse the Internet ; manage and
print documents , spreadsheets and presentations ; make hotel room service orders and housekeeping requests ; access local directions ; and make dinner reservations . Meeting and group planners will also be able to use the service to send customized messages directly to guestrooms .

CKI Solutions was selected to be Serta ’ s sole supplier of bed bug-proof mattress and box spring encasements in a national program that launched this past February . The company also was chosen as the sole supplier of mattress , pillow and box spring encasements for all 23 Rosewood Hotels & Resorts worldwide . The first property installed will be the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi , which will be opening late this year .
The WMF Group intends to acquire coffee machine provider CMA , one of the leading companies in the area of professional espresso portafilter machines . Founded in 1969 , the focus of CMA is the design , development , assembly and sale of traditional , semi-automatic coffee machines under the Astoria and Wega brands .
In 2011 , the unaudited total revenue for the group was approximately US $ 66.2 million (€ 50 million ). WMF AG is paying a purchase price of approximately US $ 46.3 million (€ 35 million ) for the coffee machine business based on an enterprise value on a debt-free basis .
