“ Nothing is identical ,” Scott says of the hotel , which opened on June 1 and is about an hour ’ s drive northeast of the Spanish island ’ s capital , Palma .
The heart of the hotel developed and owned by Grupo Cap Vermell , Mallorca , is a piazza , the Plaza de la Torre , with a clock tower that helps orient guests on the 59,800-square-yard ( 50,000-square-meter ) property on the Cap Vermell estate . The design encourages strolling from the guestrooms , among the public buildings , and to the beach , a 10-minute walk away .
