Ahallmark of IHG ’ s Hotel Indigo brand is that each hotel is unique , and Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island is no exception . The chief design goal of the 29-story , 138- room new-build property is to convey the vibrant nature of Asia and , more specifically , Hong Kong ’ s Wan Chai area where it resides .

“ The site was located in a run-down area of Wan Chai , and breathing new life into this part of the neighborhood was a big inspiration for the hotel ,” notes General Manager Bryan Gabriel . “ The ‘ neighborhood story ’ is integral to the Hotel Indigo brand , and the Wan Chai neighborhood is Hong Kong ’ s most interesting and historic area , with rich , vibrant culture and a tapestry of neighborhood stories to explore .”
