AMBIENTE PARTNERS WITH THE NETHERLANDS
Ambiente 2018 will encourage the industry to “ Do Dutch .”
Ambiente ’ s 2018 partner country will be the Netherlands . The international trade fair will be held February 9-13 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center in Frankfurt , Germany . Running under the tagline “ Do Dutch ,” the partner country presentation will highlight all things Dutch . Industrial designer and curator Robert Bronwasser will use consumer goods from the Netherlands to create a colorful , minimalistic display .
Ambiente also announced a business matchmaking program to facilitate contact between manufacturers and buyers ahead of the show . The program enables visitors to preview exhibitors , and exhibitors can see who will attend . The program includes an online platform for meeting planning .
INTERGASTRA INNOVATION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Celebrating new concepts in the gastronomy and hotel sectors , Intergastra awarded its Innovation Prize to winners selected by a 13-person specialist jury . Winners : Flowtify ( Quality Assurance and Economy ), Pure from Echtermann ( Design and Function ), Code2order ( IT Solutions ) and Connected Cooking ( Kitchen Technology ). The prize presentation ceremony will take place during the opening of Intergastra , February 3-7 , 2018 , in Stuttgart , Germany .
Nutrisantos # 65 won the SMART Label 2017 award .
DUETTO INTRODUCES PLAYMAKER
Using known and unknown guests ’ purchase histories and customer data from third-party data providers , Duetto developed the PlayMaker app , designed to make instant decisions in the booking path . The product enables hoteliers to personalize merchandising content such as room type sort order , and upsell offers and packages in real time on a hotel ’ s booking site . The app A / B tests the “ plays ” to determine what ’ s most effective , allowing hoteliers to implement the actions .
SANTOS JUICER EARNS SMART LABEL
The Santos cold press juicer Nutrisantos # 65 was awarded the SMART Label 2017 designation by a jury of professionals from the HOST exhibition . The SMART Label recognizes innovative products and services within the hospitality industry .
Launched in July 2017 , Santos ’ cold press juicer slowly presses all kinds of vegetables , leafy greens and fruit , while preserving their nutrients . The juicer has an aluminum body and stainless steel food zone , adjustable juicing speeds and is easy to clean , according to Santos .
