The 45 villas , which resemble Cambodian houses , were built on stilts with local wood , timber and stone .

“ We want customers to feel like they are in Cambodia and not in a Zannier property that could be anywhere ,” Zannier says . “ We always stick as much as possible to the location , and the common values of the brand can be found at all of our properties , but in a very local and authentic design .”
The resort ’ s dining options offer guests a taste of authentic Cambodian cuisine . Bay Phsar is reminiscent of a local street market where guests select their own fresh ingredients and spices , and Hang Bay offers a broader range of cuisine that ranges from seafood to steaks . The resort also includes the Pool Bar , serving light meals and homemade juices , as well as the Cigar & Cocktail Lounge , housed in a 100-yearold Cambodian farmhouse .
