Hugh Taylor named , Hugh Taylor , chief executive , Michels & Taylor , shared how it will be marketed as well as other insights into the JV .
The consortium includes 25 hotels in rural Ireland in the 3-star to 5-star segments ranging from 50 to 150 guestrooms , each with loans to Ulster Bank .
“ This is not an initiative where we will be requiring significant capex , because no one in this market is looking to do this at this stage ,” Taylor told HOTELS . “ Each hotel ’ s individuality is a critical part of the consumer branding proposition . We are trying to create a brand that is entirely Irish — taking the Irishness of their service , their smile and welcome and focus on that as the brand proposition . That will be communicated through loyalty programs and cross-product offerings creating a differentiated branding proposition for owners .”

“ If the candidate is prepared , they ’ ve researched our company , ask pertinent questions during interviews and submit highly polished resumes ,” Murtha wrote . “ Great presentation means they dress the part , exhibit a high degree of poise and a confident ( but not cocky ) manner . It ’ s critical for candidates to have some idea about what they want to accomplish in their careers and that they articulate this purpose in specific terms . Finally , while a high grade-point average is great , practical experience is a better indicator of their passion for the industry . We look for job experience that ’ s relevant , reveals a solid work ethic and shows progression through a variety of jobs during their college years .”
