On November 11 , 2013 , at the New York Palace , HOTELS formally introduced its 2013 Hotelier of the World award winners : Peter Borer , COO , The Peninsula Hotels , Hong Kong , and Paul Leone , president of The Breakers Palm Beach , Florida .
Both of the winners reflected during the awards ceremony about their loyal careers and the important people who helped them along the way . Then friends , families and colleagues further toasted the winners during a lavish cocktail party .
