The bar counter at Megu features a variety of sashimi and sushi as well as an extensive sake selection with rarities exclusively imported for The Alpina Gstaad .
Noé Duchafour-Lawrence crafted a design for Japanese restaurant Megu that is inspired by Japanese houses , temples and antique kimonos with accents of vermillion and antique fir wood , providing a Far Eastern variation on The Alpina Gstaad ’ s traditional alpine theme .
All-day-dining Restaurant Sommet is flooded with natural light thanks to its corner location , while Saanenland culture and traditions combine with a contemporary vibe thanks to an antique timber ceiling , hand-tufted rugs of New Zealand wool , wroughtiron chandeliers and custom-designed leather chairs .
