THE DINING SECTION OF AMBIENTE KEEPS GROWING

Ambiente , the global consumer goods fair , expands its Dining section for 2024 , showcasing household , table and kitchen innovations . As an important future field , the Special Interest HoReCa offers again innovative catering concepts for the international contract business . Ambiente is putting the hospitality industry in the spotlight with a broad lecture program and the newly designed Hotelier ’ s Day : from 27 to 29 January 2024 , visitors of the HoReCa Academy will be able to network , access presentations with renowned speakers and gain valuable industry insights .

HOSTMILANO , A CONFIRMED GLOBAL HUB FOR INNOVATION

HostMilano is becoming a global reference hub for innovation in professional hospitality , out-of-home and food retail , as commented by exhibitors and industry professionals at the close of the 43rd edition , held at fieramilano in Rho last October . The fair had more than 180,000 trade visitors , of whom more than 42 % were international , coming from 166 countries and , in particular , in addition to Europe , from North and South America , the Gulf countries and Asia . Exciting contests and competitions crowned champions in different specialties , from the panettone to the world of gelato and pastry to coffee and latte art . The
appointment with the 44th edition of HostMilano will be held at fieramilano from October 17 to 21 , 2025 .

VILLEROY & BOCH APPOINTS GABI SCHUPP AS CEO

The Villeroy & Boch AG Supervisory Board has appointed Gabi Schupp as the company ’ s new CEO , effective January 1 , 2024 . She will take over the role from Frank Göring . Over almost five years before this appointment , Schupp and her management team have strategically repositioned the Dining & Lifestyle Division , putting it on a sound , sustainable ground , both structurally and commercially , leading to a sales and revenue increase . Before joining Villeroy & Boch , Schupp spent more than 20 years in a variety of executive roles at Procter & Gamble , ultimately in the global executive management team , and at Spencer Stuart , where she advised clients in renowned international businesses in her role as EMEA practice leader for consumer goods and retail .
