AMBIENTE PREPARES FOR 2019 SHOW

Ambiente , billed as the barometer of the latest trends as well as an order and design platform , is readying its 2019 show . The global consumer goods fair , which will be held at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt , Germany , February 8-12 , 2019 , consists of three areas – Dining , Living and Giving . The fair presents a range of products in cooking , dining , leisure , interior design , furnishings and more . A Hospitality Industry and Contract Business Guide will be available to help hospitality industry visitors navigate the exhibition center . The show also plans to bring together manufacturers , designers , investors and consultants for a hospitality industry networking event .
Also in 2019 , Ambiente will partner with the Republic of India , presenting a range of products by traditional craftsmen and artisans . The display is curated and designed by the Jaipur , India-based designer Ayush Kasliwal , one of India ’ s leading design thinkers and advocates for artisans .

HORWATH HTL ELECTS CHAIRMAN OF NORTH AMERICA
Horwath HTL elected John Fareed chairman of North America . As chairman , Fareed plans to build the Horwath HTL brand in North America .
“ In my mind , Horwath HTL is the sleeping giant in the region . We are the global leader in hotel , tourism and leisure consulting ,” Fareed says . “ While this is well known in the rest of the world – especially Asia and Europe – we are not as recognized in North America .”
In addition to his chairmanship , Fareed is chairman of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and chairman of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Foundation . Horwath HTL has 45 offices in 39 countries .
FRILICH PARTNERS WITH G . E . T . ENTERPRISES German buffet specialist Frilich announced a strategic partnership with G . E . T . Enterprises , a U . S . -based dinnerware and tabletop firm , to create and distribute food and beverage presentation goods made from alternative , lightweight materials . Frilich will exclusively distribute the products .
The versatile products are made of materials including melamine , Tritan and Bugambilia , a resin-coated aluminum in many color variations . The materials are light and ergonomic , and also easy to clean for daily use . Designed as alternatives to porcelain , glass or enameled cast iron , the products come in many shapes , textures , colors and designs . Because it is lightweight , melamine especially allows for large and attention-grabbing shapes , such as a 28-inch ( 70- centimeter ) serving plate , according to the company .
