Ambiente 2018 will showcase a range of HoReCa product lines .
Ambiente 2018 , from February 9-13 , 2018 , in Frankfurt , will showcase a range of design-related HoReCa product lines , from lifestyle through premium to ultra-luxury collections . A special HoReCa Guide is available to help visitors navigate the Messe Frankfurt Exhibition center while finding relevant exhibitors .
The consumer goods trade fair will bring together manufacturers , planners , investors and consultants at a HoReCa get-together . The evening event is designed as a networking opportunity during which participants can share their experiences and perspectives .
WELBILT JOINS DIVERSITY INITIATIVE Welbilt Inc . joined the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion initiative with the goal of becoming a more diverse workplace . The initiative is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace . Launched in June 2017 , the coalition represents nearly 70 industries , all 50 states and millions of employees globally .
“ Becoming a more diverse and inclusive place to work is not only a key priority for me as CEO , but it is critical to the success of Welbilt as a global company ,” says Hubertus Muehlhaeuser , president and CEO , Welbilt . “ Engaging different points of view and cultural perspectives will enable us to effectively and efficiently meet the growing demands of our customers today and in the future .”
Welbilt joined the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion initiative .
GERBER AND DANZE PROVIDE SCHOOL SUPPLIES Gerber Plumbing Fixtures and Danze Inc . raised money and school supplies to outfit more than 100 backpacks for kids in the Joliet School District in Joliet , Illinois .
Employees worked together to purchase pencils , folders and more through the organization Kits for Kidz .
Danze and Gerber also announced that Mike Walleck , formerly sales director at Ward Manufacturing , is the company ' s new director of sales for the western region .
Meiko marked its 90th anniversary in 2017 .
MEIKO CELEBRATES 90 YEARS On July 1 , 2017 , Meiko celebrated its 90th anniversary with 3,000 employees , relatives and friends . Oskar Meier and Franz Konrad founded the mechanical engineering company based in Offenburg , Germany , in 1927 .
“ Meiko ,” a combination of the first letters of each of their last names , commemorated the big anniversary with a ceremony and day of celebration . An extensive exhibition displayed company milestones alongside world history events , including the reconstruction of the plant after it was destroyed in WWII .
