CEOs have been criticized by labor leaders for being overpaid , in its annual studying reviewing compensation of hospitality company CEOs , Aethos and its chief Keith Kefgen suggest that in 2018 most CEOs were paid appropriately , with a few outliers . “ Yes , CEOs make a lot of money . Yes , some of them don ' t deserve it . But the answer is in better compensation administration , not government regulation . Will the CEO pay gap create economic instability or unsustainability ? I think not ,” Kefgen says .

IHG BUYS SIX SENSES
hotelsm . ag / IHGSixSenses InterContinental Hotels Group continues to bolt on luxury brands with its announced acquisition in February of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas ' brands and operating companies from Pegasus Capital Advisors for US $ 300 million in cash . The news follows IHG ’ s 2015 acquisition of the Kimpton brand and last October ’ s deal for Regent Hotels & Resorts . It takes IHG ’ s portfolio of open and pipeline luxury hotels to 400 ( 108,000 rooms ) globally . Six Senses CEO Neil Jacobs exclusively told HOTELS reporter-atlarge Mary Gostelow , “ The only way we would allow Six Senses to be sold to IHG would be if we were left alone .”
