Messe FrankFurt releases Horeca contract business report

Messe Frankfurt recently published , “ Contract business – a growth market . A study of contract business in Horeca supplies and furnishings .” The report was released in conjunction with Ambiente , a trade fair for the consumer goods sector held February 13 to 17 , 2015 , in Frankfurt am Main , Germany . Prepared by the Ifo Institute , the study highlights the economic significance of the contract business and Horeca furnishings .
“ According to the Ifo Institute , the contract business in Germany is currently worth around two billion euros for the dining , living and giving product segments ,” says Stephan Kurzawski , senior vice president , Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH . Further growth of
10 % is expected within the next five years , according to Messe Frankfurt .
The report cites expansion plans of major hotel chains and an anticipated increase in cruise liners as driving forces . According to the study , companies from the hotel and restaurant sectors dominate business demand for products in the dining and living segments .

The WMF Group , a manufacturer of cutlery , tableware , kitchen products and professional coffee machines , announced the launch of a new brand identity for its recently established consumer goods division .

The Hansgrohe @ home app from Hansgrohe is designed to help users find solutions for bathroom and kitchen designs .
App users take a photo of an existing bath or shower area , then virtually overlay images from the company ’ s product portfolio using 2D and 3D imaging to create a composition of the updated space . The image of the desired bathroom or kitchen can be emailed , saved , printed , or shared via Facebook or Twitter .
Now available in 13 languages for iPad , iPhone and Android devices , version 4.0 includes improved photo functionality and an expanded range of products . The app also features an integrated Hansgrohe store locator with a list of nearby kitchen and bathroom retailers .

Groupe GM , yves rocher launch aMenity line

Groupe GM is launching an organic , oat-based amenity line in partnership with French cosmetic company Yves Rocher .
The line , Organic Oats – Les Plaisirs Nature , features paraben-free products enriched with organic oat extracts . The line contains no animal products and has active ingredients extracted directly from plants .
Products available include a shower gel , shampoo , hair and body gel , lotion and conditioner in 1-ounce ( 30-milliliter ) translucent tubes , and two soaps in . 7-ounce and 1.4-ounce ( 20- gram and 40-gram ) sizes , as well as a bamboo display tray . A matching accessory line also is available .
