Meiko , the manufacturer of commercial dishwashers and cleaning and disinfection appliances based in Offenburg , Germany , says it posted a new order-intake record in 2013 . The volume of business generated by the company ’ s commercial dishwasher operations at its headquarters and key production site rose some € 6 million ( US $ 8.2 million ) to more than € 108 million ( US $ 148 million ). This included increases of more than 8 % for large commercial dishwashing machines and almost 12 % for cleaning products .

Outdoor furniture brands Dedon and Gloster have partnered to form DK Furniture Brands Holding AG . Dedon and Gloster Furniture Holding will remain unchanged in their design , sales and management structures . “ The spirit , creativity and innovative power of Dedon and Gloster , combined with the sustainability , solidarity and business experience of the Diethelm Keller Group , will bring these brands to a whole new level ,” says Angelo van Tol , CEO of Diethelm Keller Investments AG and chairman of Gloster .
“ We will carry on building a new vision of outdoor living , together ,” says Dedon founder Bobby Dekeyser .

ComCast Business extends partnership with irvine
Comcast Business will extend its partnership with celebrity chef and restaurateur Robert Irvine .
Last year , Irvine participated in a series of Comcast Businesssponsored events , and a video webinar platform was launched — “ Irvine on the Inside ” — to communicate how technology can help restaurants .
In 2014 , Irvine will work with Comcast Business to further educate the hospitality industry on the importance of using technology to help improve efficiency , increase revenue and reduce costs . The partnership will once again include opportunities to interact with Irvine directly at a series of in-person and online events , as well as through print , online and digital assets . Additional episodes of “ Irvine on the Inside ” will also be produced .
Cintas Corp . has unveiled the year ’ s hottest trends in luxury hotel apparel , which include slimmer fits , jersey fabrics , charcoal suiting and statement pieces .
Other top trends in luxury hotel apparel include brighter resort colors such as blues and corals , less formal styles such as jackets instead of traditional suits and local flair to communicate a sense of place with uniforms .
“ As the economy resurges , demand has increased for apparel that not only makes a statement , but does so in a retail-inspired way ,” says Kass Graham , design manager at Cintas division Fourmy . “ In the luxury hotel market , this has resulted in apparel that ’ s more approachable and more like what employees wear outside of the workplace .”
