PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE : After growing up working in the hotel business in Australia , Fox joined ITT Sheraton there as a trainee and proceeded to work in a variety of roles ranging from operations to marketing to management in Australia and North America for the company , which was later acquired by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide . She joined IHG in 2001 to rebrand the Regent Hong Kong and later transferred to IHG ’ s U . K . headquarters , where her most recent position was chief operating officer , Europe .
