I am so lucky that my profession chose me. Speaking about the sales department in a hotel, what are the main personality traits that one should have to succeed as a salesperson in the hospitality field? Being able to communicate effectively is one of the most important life skills to learn if you want to suc- ceed in Sales. To meet the client’s expectations, you need to hear not only listen, need to empathize not only understand. It’s a lifelong process of learning and scrutinizing the psychological aspects of human rela- tions. I am also working on shifting from a managerial to coaching mindset in my team, as for me it’s the most effective one, and learning what makes people tick can help them to succeed. Sales sometimes can be very stressful, so stress man- agement is the last point I want to highlight here.
