Architecture & Design: Yoka Sara & Nobuyuki Narabayashi
First envisaged by local architect Yoka Sara, whose
designs capture the spiritual energy of their surroundings, these single-story sanctuaries are rounded and
open-plan, making the most of natural daylight and warm
island breezes. Each villa has its own turquoise pool and
an airy alfresco dining area that’s covered by a curved
stone canopy. Part of the overarching design concept was
to blur the lines between inside and out, allowing guests
to enjoy the entire environment come rain or shine. This
