Welcome to Issue 10 Volume 3. Hua Hin
continues to grow with new must-see tourist
destinations. The latest is Ratchapak Park
located just a few Kilometers south of Hua
Hin’s center. On 222 rai of land this park
features 14 meter high bronze statues of
seven past Kings of Thailand.
The official grand opening took place
on September 26th and was attended by
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha
Vajiralongkorn and his daughter Princess
Bajrakitiyabha Mahikol. From our picture
on page 18 you’ll see it was quite a grand
affair!
Life changing events happen in the blink
of an eye and almost never with advance
notice. For Edwin Wiek, his life changing
event was a car crash that brought him to
death’s door. We sit down with Edwin and
learn how his life took a new direction after
given a second chance to live it, that’s on
page 36.
On September 16th at Bangkok’s Plaza
Athenee Hotel, the tenth anniversary
Thailand Property Awards Gala Dinner
took place. With over 500 of the Kingdom’s
“who’s who” of Real Estate in attendance,
this Black Tie event was one hot ticket and
we take you there in style on page 48.
Our “Let’s Go” feature this month takes us
to the Province of Loei. The story starts on
page 56 but don’t let the cover picture spook
you, Loei Province has lots to offer besides a
spooky mask festival.
