his past November marked the
celebration of the 13th Hua Hin
Vintage Car Parade, a show
which extended across three days
and was packed with delightful events.
Hosted by Kwanchai Paphatpong, the
president of the Vintage Car Club of
Thailand and the Sheraton Hua Hin, it
was a fantastic way of spending a great
weekend, from Friday all the way till
Sunday.
Registration began early at seven in
the morning in Bangkok at the Westin
Grande Sukhumvit and an hour and
a half later, the cars set off to Hua Hin
escorted by the police. After donating
money and necessary accessories to the
Christian Foundation for the Blind in
Thailand, which falls under His Majesty
the King’s patronage, the motorcade
stopped for lunch at Mae-Luan, in
Khao Yoi, Phetchaburi. Upon arrival
and check in at the Sheraton, the day
came to a close with interviews with the
different car owners, after which came a
wonderful barbecue.
After breakfast on Saturday, the
expedition made its way to the majestic
