Jimmy Chaichotchuang, the leading
IBF promoter in Thailand stated, “I
am proud to present the IBF flyweight
title fight between Ruenroeng vs Lee
to celebrate “His Majesty” the King of
Thailand’s Birthday on December 5.
Ruenroeng is voted to be best boxer
in 2015 by the Sports Association
of Thailand and received a “Royal
Trophy Award “under the patronage
of the King of Thailand.
Before the big bout there were
several under-card fights. Super
Bantamweight Mike Tawatchai of
Thailand (37-8-1, 21 KO’s) beat out
Indonesia’s Galih Susanto (10-6-1,
1KO) to retain his IBF Pan Pacific Belt
and 2004 Olympic Champion Manus
Boonjumnong (3-0-0, 1 KO) won over
Indonesian Jonatan Simamora (23-275, 8 KO’s) in the first round in a warm
up fight.
