INTERCONTINENTAL’S SPANISH
WINE DINNER
Tuesday evening November 17th marked a rare occasion, that
being a wine dinner at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
Glen Roberts, the InterContinental’s Culinary Director joined
with renowned wine maker Ms. Judit Llop Gasull to present
a delectable evening of gourmet food and wonderful Spanish
wines. The evening started with a wine reception and socializing
amongst guests who then settled into a 4 course Spanish menu set
while enjoying the smooth sounds of live jazz, beachfront at the
InterCon’s Azure restaurant.
Phuket lobster medallion, slow poached chicken, two different
types of salmon and grilled tenderloin with foie gras were
delightfully enjoyed with equally delightful Spanish wines.

WORLD CLASS TENNIS RETURNS TO HUA HIN
Hua Hin will be center stage for
yet another world class tennis event
when the winner of 7 Grand Slam
titles, Venus Williams meets WTA # 5
ranked Agnieszka Radwanska from
Poland in an exhibition tournament
at Centennial Sports Club. Also
competing will be Germany’s #10
ranked Angelique Kerber and Italian
#20 ranked Sara Errani.
The two-day ‘World Tennis
Thailand Championship 2016 will be
played at Hua Hin Centennial Club
from Dec 31 to Jan 1.
At a recent press conference, Khun
Suwat Liptapanlop, president of the
Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand,
