Highlight of the breakfast was the presentation of the birthday cake, especially created by Pastry Chef Chutiwat. Knowing that Mr Symonds has a passion for fishing and that he used to work in the timber industry, the cake boast a fishing rod catching a big fish, next to a log of wood. “This cake is a work of art, too beautiful to be eaten”, said Mr Symonds. But after pictures were taken and he learned that the cake was his favourite – chocolate. He was the first to finish a generous slice. At night, the celebrations continued at Reef Deli & Wine Lounge with a traditional British dinner, including roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, together with friends and family.
