Sofitel LHR appoints new Hotel Manager

Sofitel London Heathrow, the airport’ s only premium hotel directly connected to Terminal 5, has appointed Daniel Esplen( above) as Hotel Manager of the 605 room hotel, managed and operated by Arora Hotels.
Esplen joins Sofitel London Heathrow from his current role as Director of Food and Beverage at Aloft Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, part of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he assisted in the pre-opening and launch of the hotel in September 2016.

YO! Sushi appoints Marketing Director

YO! Sushi has announced the appointment of Luisa Fernandez as its new Marketing Director. Fernandez has over 16 years’ experience, having spent over 15 years in house at British Airways, most recently heading up the CRM innovation Lab where she responsible for the CRM strategy across BA’ s key digital channels.
Most recently Fernandez was Managing Partner at sports marketing agency, BBH Sport. She joined YO! as an Executive Director earlier this month and reports directly into CEO, Robin Rowland.

The London Edition appoints David Stanton as Hotel Manager

The London EDITION has announced the appointment of David Stanton as its new hotel manager, who will work closely the hotel’ s general manager Jurgen Ammerstorfer to oversee all operations at the Fitzrovia property.
Stanton has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, spending over half of this period with Four Seasons across its properties in New York, China, Thailand and the UK. Joining from Rosewood Hotel Georgia as Director of Food & Beverage, David brings a wealth of experience from his positions at five-star hotels.
