Now the low-calorie version, Orangina Light, is launching exclusively to the
on trade channel in its trademark bulby shaped 250ml glass bottle.
This is the first time that Orangina Light has been available to the on trade
and with its nostalgic packaging (the brand dates from 1936) and ‘Shake and
Serve’ ritual, it aims to offer a “trade up option”.
With alcohol consumption declining and consumers looking for lighter
options, the launch also provides drinkers with a healthier alternative which
does not compromise on taste.
The Orangina Light 250ml bottle provides the channel with a strong sales
opportunity, as 60% of consumers would like to see an increased range
of soft drinks targeted at adults. Orangina’s brand team say “it’s a highly
versatile product which can be served as a soft drink, low calorie mixer
or even as a base for cocktails and mocktails”.
Jamie Nascimento, Head of Marketing for Orangina comments:
“We are really excited about the launch of Orangina Light 250ml to the
on trade and with its classic look, it will sit perfectly in discerning bars,
restaurants and cafés.
“We have seen a growing demand from consumers for lighter drinks
and we are confident that Orangina Light, with its unmistakably
unique flavour will set taste buds alight. It’s the perfect
accompaniment for lunch this summer, poured over a glass
of ice and served with a twist of orange peel”.
The new 250ml glass bottle is available now with a
RSP of £2.25.
