CONCLUSION
With more than 20 years in Hos-
pitality General Management
under my belt, I genuinely wish
to convey encouragement to all
hospitality professionals who are
willing and capable of taking the
added step of delving into Ho-
tel, and Hospitality management
consultancy. Be sure however to
lay solid foundations based upon
a professional academic progres-
sion, and rigorous experience in
operating the crucial categories of
Hotels of different classifications
and room capacities, and /or dif-
ferent types of catering establish-
ments. Do not fear travelling up
or down the stars scales for higher
earned responsibilities, because
this all reinforces one’s transfor-
mation from being a hotelier or
hospitality professional to a Hotel
Management Consultant. This is
a long process, I must admit, but
becoming a good Hotel and Hos-
pitality Management Consult-
ant is sorely needed and a most
worthwhile and enjoyable career.
Be sure however
