CLIENT AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
AppleCore Foods hosts a number of events throughout
the year but the highlight of the calendar is the End of
Season Partners event. Consisting of a street party in front
of AppleCore’s offices, the event provides a showcase of
the company’s products. Attracting around 700 guests,
the event provides the company with an excellent op-
portunity to ‘meet and greet’ its clients at the heart of
its operations. In addition to this, a number of small
retail events are organised throughout the year.

Pierre also explains the company’s Corporate Social
Responsibility programme Core-porate Care. Pierre
strongly believes that CSR is not just about giving
money but is to be involved in the community directly.
One of AppleCore’s aims and goals is to make sure
the company is on track and actively keeping the en-
vironment green. Pierre considers that CSR is not
just about doing something physically for some-
one or some entity but involves also the playing of
an active role in any initiative the company decides
to support. Furthermore, teamwork is very high on
AppleCore’s agenda, so any idea brought up on giving
back is properly evaluated too. If a valid idea is pre-
sented, then it is followed up and acted upon.
Over the past, the company has implemented a num-
ber of staff initiatives. Pierre strives to maintain strong
contact with every member of the team. “Some ideas
come from the least expected team member. Some
might be trivial but could spark larger ideas,” he noted.
