The Dinesh Chandaria Medical Centre was set up with a view to ensuring most specialist medical
consulting services are available within the Hospital premises.
The Hospital rents out space to consultants that cover a wide range of medical specialties. The
additional advantage of having doctors running their private practices within the Hospital premises is
that patients who are admitted under their care can be seen earlier than if their doctors were to come
in from remote locations. Additionally, doctors are able to visit their patients as often as necessary.
