SEPTEMBER MEETING
HOSA kicked off its first meeting in September with team building exercises for the new HOSA group to get to know each other. These activities included rock, paper, scissors, where an individual had to keep winning against another to eventually reach the top, where they were awarded with the title of a healthcare professional, and building a straw tower, where HOSA members split into groups and had to work together to build the tallest straw tower. These activities were designed to simulate the healthcare field, where many of the jobs involve working together in groups and building support and trust with one another. The Spring Valley HOSA members truly experienced what HOSA stands for and what our members do as future health care professionals.
