As we work to continually uplift learning and growth, we look forward to forging ahead with you this coming school year. We have plans to maximize our efforts and elevate Tolson campus in every way.
We look forward to providing a school that provides a well-rounded education centered on leadership, project based & experiential learning, and social justice. Our scholars’ learning experience will include but not be limited to a culturally responsive curriculum on college readiness, career exploration, entrepreneurship, life skills, financial literacy, community engagement, and cultural and global competency.
There is so much to look forward to as we embark on this journey. To support our efforts, next school year, Hope Tolson will become a part of the Phalen Leadership Academies (PLA) Network. That means we join the ranks of schools across the country working to be #1 in scholar performance, family engagement and learning acceleration. PLA supports its network schools across the country in becoming A-rated by executing rigorous and personalized curriculum while also providing students with the individualized support they need to achieve. This includes hands-on-learning, daily in-school tutoring, free summer programming, technology integration for teachers and scholars as well as restorative justice programs and supports that focus on the social and emotional needs of our scholars. Our teachers will have access to world-class training programs, a national network of support, and more resources to help our school and scholars excel. Everything you love about Hope Tolson will remain the same including, enrichment, athletics, that Eagle pride and our continuous pursuit of excellence. We are combining that with an expansion of resources that help sharpen our focus on ensuring that our scholars receive a world-class education. We are positioning our students to learn and lead.
