We welcome Billy and Dawn Ray as the new OMS regional directors for the Europe / Middle East region. They will oversee work in 10 countries. They come to OMS with nearly 25 years of missionary experience in the Middle East. Despite attending the same university and church in Texas, Billy and Dawn didn’ t meet until later in Istanbul, Turkey.
Hungary
In February, OMS Hungary hosted 20 Taylor University students in Budapest. For three weeks, students participated in hands-on ministry, including caring for the homeless, training worship leaders, participating in street evangelism, teaching English, and leading Bible studies. This transformative program fostered spiritual growth, increased cultural awareness, and deepened the students’ understanding of global mission work.
South Korea
Praise God for the prayer group at Seoul Theological University led by a student who fled North
Korea. They meet weekly to worship the Lord and pray for North Korea. Pray that they will be prepared to reach people from the north with the Gospel.
Africa
The West Africa Missionary Movements team reports significant breakthroughs among the K * people in Côte d’ Ivoire. Over the past three months, we have witnessed 30 baptisms and identified 14 key leaders. These leaders dream of seeing the K people removed from the list of unreached people groups by 2027.
