through educational programs, emotional support, mentoring, community development, and advancing the Gospel message. These programs provide temporary relief and empower people to spread the truth of the Gospel, becoming agents of change in their own communities.
The Caribbean church has played a major role in the multiplication of churches. In the mid-1990s, they realized they needed a concerted effort to unite to reach their country for Jesus. The church put all its effort into this church multiplication movement.
Recognizing the need for leadership training, we turned to OMS Train & Multiply materials to equip local leaders and pastors. We trained and empowered participants from 18 denominations to make disciples who planted healthy spiritual churches in both rural and city settings.
Addressing community needs is an integral part of the training. This social commitment attracts many people to the church— both Christians and non-Christians— as the leaders promote outreach to seniors, children, youth, and people with disabilities.
Our story is a testament to the power of faith and resilience. Amid difficult circumstances, the Caribbean church has demonstrated that it is possible to find light and hope, even in the darkest moments.
For security reasons, we cannot mention specific names or exact locations. However, these leaders’ stories of impact resonate worldwide. Through the efforts of our pastors and leaders, we have shown that stronger, more resilient communities can be built, even in the most difficult times. The dedication and faith of our Caribbean brothers and sisters inspire many, showing that, with hope and effort, a better future can be created for everyone.
