Ecologically minded, Anderson wanted her “first and only” wedding to be kind to her guests and also to her environment. Both ceremony and reception occurred on her parents’ three acres of property. “We tried not to be wasteful,” she said. “I chose materials that were harvested sustainably and that were biodegradable.
