he MTRC had a busy summer, starting with our banquet celebrating 30 years of the Buffalo Run Snowmobile Trail, then we hosted a summer “away” trip for those of us sledheads with ATVs to Northern Wisconsin for a week of fishing, relaxing and riding the trails on quads. We finished off the summer with our annual “summer party,” which was hosted by club members Brandon and Rena Fox, and this year the party included a zipline for the kids. clubs in Indiana and across the midwest also look forward to “gettin it done!” Every year we have at least one person or family not in a club that helps us install the trail. It’s never the same guy or family twice, but we sure appreciate any helping hand. If you’ve never helped install a trail, go help your local club just one day. The satisfaction is great for all parties involved. And if you really like it, you never know, you might just jump in and help out every year. The trail is greater than all of us. It’s a creator of friends and life memories. I can’t want to get more memories this year! Be safe. Have Fun. We’ll see you this winter!
