Dear Colleagues,
We have an interesting collection of articles from reconstructive surgery in a
chimpanzee, another great article by Dr Last on mineral analysis with an associated
CPD questionnaire and an in-depth look at an avian influenza outbreak. We have put
together a vision and mission for the group, please feel free to give input.
The vision of the SAVA Wildlife Group is knowledgeable, skilled and well-motivated members serving a
developed, environmentally sustainable, ethical and animal welfare orientated wildlife sector.
The mission of the SAVA Wildlife Group is to assist with the interests and skills development of its members,
encourage knowledge transfer and best practice to stakeholders of wildlife sector and where necessary engage
in legislative and policy matters with government and conservation agencies.
