The list he acquired was lengthy but clear , and he took it all back to the drawing board to develop a concept boat that anglers could get excited about . This new morphing of positive attributes birthed Action Craft ’ s 2050 Gulf Coast Crossover , or 2050 GCX .
In a nutshell , the 2050 GCX is everything we love about Texas-style boats and Florida-style boats wrapped into one . It has the shallow draft — just 12 inches for a 20 ’ boat — and the pocketed hull , wide beam and wide , walkable gunwales all flats fisherman treasure . Fishing amenities continue with eight rod tubes , a famously silent hull , a 36 Volt trolling motor , and four livewells — three of which are insulated — to please even the hardest-core live baiters .
