Svitlana Savonenko is a second-degree nursing student , and has consistently exceeded expectations in academic assignments , classroom activities , and simulation experiences . Svitlana brings a positive attitude and wealth of knowledge into the classroom setting . She is excellent both in clinical documentation and clinical patient care . Svitlana is a very caring individual with integrity and drive for perfection . She seeks out opportunities for learning and always looks forward to new nursing experiences . She will be an asset to any future nursing team , and we are proud to have Svitlana represent Gwynedd Mercy University as she joins the nursing profession .

The Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care recognizes a student who has demonstrated both academic and clinical excellence and who will likely contribute greatly to the profession of Respiratory Care both now and in the future .

While there are many words that can describe Jamie Beer , intelligent , inquisitive , and respectful are three that immediately come to mind . As educators , we dream of having a student like Jamie in our respective classrooms , because students like her are what truly brings the joy to teaching . She will truly be missed when she graduates tomorrow , however we are better off knowing that the respiratory care profession will only improve with her practicing in it .
It is for these reasons that the faculty of the Gwynedd Mercy University Respiratory Care Program are proud to award Jamie Beer with the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care 2022 Outstanding Student of the Year Award .
