Chinese spoken through the air, But with traditions far different. Here born was great Wang Yangming, Birthed here kunqu and liangzhu. Coastal goods I’ve never seen, I’ve come home but home’s still west. “At last homebound I've returned, Priceless knowledge I have earned. Through mountains deserts and seas, Foreign thinking I have met. I have done what see could not, And learned wisdom not on books. I've brought back art from far away, From my journey to the West”
