The Monkey King
Kennedy School, Hemnani, Tarun -8
Born of heaven and earth
Like a pearl from a shiny black stone
With light blazing from his eyes
Comes Sun Wu Kong
The naughty monkey makes mischief
Leaps upon the heavens
Changes shape like a cloud
Shrinks his staff like a needle
He is greedy, selfish, moody
And wants to live forever
Subodhi makes him wise
Before his journey to the west with Xuang Zang
His strength is like a thousand bulls
He makes the waves dance like butterflies
And all the demons fall down
He is the king of the heroes
