The New Tales of Old Shanghai
Discovery Mind Primary School, Singh, Harjas - 10
Shanghai is the biggest city in China,
You can ride down the Yangtze river delta.
You might see some temples and even a lion dance,
They have red fans.
The buildings are tall,
And they never fall.
Some lanterns hang in temples,
And now the city is a trading port.
It is a thing people in the past never thought.
At night it is as dark as a cave,
The cars beep and the engines rave.
You should eat dim sum,
Well it is quite yum.
The buildings as pointy as a sword.
Shanghai is a place that keep on moving forward
