With its 125-story of height,
the second tallest skyscraper in the world,
amazed the world with astonishing charm,
Shanghai, the modern Shanghai!
My Shanghai, my new Shanghai!
A great metropolis in the world,
the leading role in the Far-East market,
the luminous star in the region,
I admire you with my whole heart,
Shanghai, the remarkable Shanghai!
