New Tale of Old Shanghai
Ying Wa Primary School, Chu, Man Him - 11
The city of old Shanghai,
You can never just pass by.
Try to walk into this wall city,
If not it will be a pity.
Walk through the roads and streets,
And try our delicious dumplings with meat.
You shouldn’t miss our traditional food,
As they are absolutely good.
We are all neighbours,
Helping with each other.
We fight against our enemies,
Which can show our unity.
No one can destroy our defensive wall.
So the Japanese pirates couldn’t break in at all/
Welcome to our town,
And hope you can enjoy around!
