It has recently been declared as an official location causing an increase in Business in the local area, tourism, and has attracted the eyes of some of the worlds’ largest organisations to be a part of the Greater Bay Area in order to reach their business goals and they believe that this is the right place to do it, containing their target audience, a low cost of production and a high revenue. For some context, the Greater Bay Area was officiated on the first of July 2017 containing some major cities including Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong. This could have been viewed as an attempt at bringing harmony and political discretion by indoctrinating Hong Kong to conform to China’s values before the official transfer of sovereignty. One of the reasons for the implementing of the Greater Bay Area was to create a passageway between all regions of this area with bridges such as the Huangpu Bridge in Guangzhou going towards Guangdong, The Nasha Bridge from Dongguan to Guangzhou, The Hong Kong- Zhuhai Macau Bridge, The Humen Pearl River Bridge, or lastly the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. In addition to this, a large number of “Urban Rails” have been developed in their designated City, such as the Hong Kong MTR, the Shenzhen Metro, the Dongguan Rail Transit, Foshan Metro, Macau LRT, Zhuhai tram and others are still under construction. On top of this airports and inter-city trains have also been used as a common mode of transport between cities.
