Amazing GBA

Hong Kong is a small city, but it has a big population. Therefore, it is crowded and noisy.
People living here expect more space for housing and doing activities. I believe when
GBA is launched, Hong Kong people’s dream will come true.
GBA stands for Greater Bay Area. It is made up by 11 cities: Hong Kong, Shenzhen,
Dongguan, Huizhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Macau, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing and
Guangzhou which are located in the southeast area of China. In ancient China the whole
area was called Canton, people here have been speaking Cantonese which is a very
different language from other areas of mainland China. The special language here helps
people to have easy communication and similar thinking, and then it makes people work
together as a team. Therefore, I guess this might be main reason for the idea of GBA.
I am wondering how GBA will be built? There must be more airports, train stations,
roads, harbor ports, bus stops and parking areas for those airplanes, high speed trains, ships,
buses and cars which are powered by wind, solar and electric energy and controlled
through 7G or 8G technology. It would be amazing when this transportation system
comes true. For example, I live in Hong Kong, but my school is in Zhuhai, I take an auto
bus across the HK-Zhuhai bridge which takes only 20 minutes. My friend Ms. Elanine
who lives in Guangzhou, but she works for the company located in Macau, she takes a
high-speed train and then transfers to an unmanned bus to her office in the central of
Macau every day. This travel pattern only takes her 40 minutes. Hence, when GBA is
built, the safer, faster and more convenient transportation system will connect 11 cities as a
larger city, then HK people can make their homes in any place within GBA, and find
their jobs anywhere within GBA.
I am also thinking about more people from all around world coming to the GBA, because
there will be more opportunities for them. We will see lovely restaurants which have
robot waiters to serve people with many kinds of foods which are cooked by robot chefs,
and unmanned supermarkets in which customers serve themselves and use mobile phones
to pay.
We also will see all of the students from all over the world including primary, secondary
and university will study at artificial classrooms, they will learn all kinds of lessons on the
internet and find their favorite teachers including AI teachers from all over the world.
They may have many kinds of sports, arts and science activities in their different campuses
located in different cities within GBA, such as science park with different laboratories in
Shenzhen; AI ski ground in Jiangmen; an Art center with exhibition gallery in
Zhongshan; a library in Guangzhou.
I may not have a very clear vision of GBA, but I look at the GBA map, I found it really
looks like a running puppy, I want it to run to a bright and exciting future. In order to
catch up the puppy, I have to study hard, be talented and capable as a resident of the
GBA.
