ld Shanghai is a crowded city . There are many buildings and nightclubs . Citizens will go to the nightclubs when they were free . They always listen to Chinese folk music and chat in the nightclubs . Fishermen catch fish near the pier and one of the fishermen is called Max . This is his journey below ….
One day , Max had caught a lot of fish and he is returning to the old shanghai pier with his boat . Max is a poor fisherman . Although he catches a lot of fish , he receives very little money . Max lives in a small village on a mountain with his family . Unfortunately , a policeman suddenly came out and said that he needed to arrest Max . Max is surprised that is why he is wanted . The police say he steals others fish from the pier . At that time , Old Shanghai is a corrupted city , yellow ; gambling and drug abuse is common . Max thinks that someone must want him to die !
When he is in prison , he finds his best friend Ming to help him find out who did this . Ming helps Max escape from the prison and they finally find out that there is a greedy fisherman called Riu . Yiu wants to have all of Max ’ s money and he sets a trap for him .
Ming and Max catch Yiu and take him to the police station . Yiu admits what he has done and Max is finally discharged . Ming is a great person and he becomes the head of the Police . Old Shanghai is returned to peace and there is no crime anymore . Max works harder and finally becomes a rich man in old Shanghai .
During this period , there is no yellow , gambling and drug abuse anymore . Old Shanghai becomes a well-developed city and Max builds many schools for the poor children and provides free education . Nowadays , those schools and buildings became historical buildings and people can go to visit them and know more about the history of Max .
