The Legend of the Golden Dagger Carmel School Association Primary, Lable, Ben - 10 Prologue 1216 Shanghai E mperor Xuanzong was yelling at his servant to get the dagger. The rumor was, that inside the curved, ornate handle of the golden dagger, was an elixir so powerful that if any living creature drank it, they would instantly inherit the gift of immortality. Friday December 5th 2016 Aguda had just finished his favorite history class. Today's topic was the golden dagger. “Class dismissed and don’t forget to study for the test on Monday,” Mr. Suzong boomed. After class, Aguda approached his teacher. “I’m fascinated by this mysterious golden dagger. Can you tell me more about it?” Aguda questioned. “Of course I can tell you more about it, but if you are really interested in finding out the secret history of the dagger, you should seek out my uncle Jie Fu. He is the master when it comes to ancient Chinese weapons. He works at Jade Buddha Martial Arts Studio,” Mr. Suzong replied. Saturday December 6th 2016 “Jade Buddha Martial Arts Studio, please,” Aguda directed to the taxi driver. Within minutes they were there. Jade Buddha Martial Arts Studio was in the Shanghai Tower on the 57th floor. As the doors on the 57th floor opened, Aguda saw an old man sitting in an empty white room, meditating on a rug. He could almost smell the dust in the air The man was wearing a purple robe and seemed utterly unaware that someone had entered the room. Suddenly with his eyes still closed, the man said, “Welcome to Jade Buddha Martial Arts Studio, Aguda. I am Jie Fu.” Aguda was shocked. How was it possible this random man knew his name?
